The camp site is about 28km from the Forestry Check point. Entry will only be allowed with permits from Forestry department. Once entry please do not request to go out unless emergency as you will require to pay a new permit if you enter at the check point again.  Again to refer to the Forestry R & R.

The camp is only available for maximum of 20 pax at any time. This is due to the constraints of the following.

Entry Permit

For the entry permit from forestry we require the following for registration and payment before entry. Forestry department in Keningau will only able to receive payment during the working days. Monday to Friday. Please give us 7 days notice to prepare the entry permit if possible. We will  apply upon payment.

Welcome to Borneo Jungle Girl Camp.

It is an honour to have you here and witness the beauty of the Insects world.

We have much to offer beside the natural fresh air and water that is free from mother earth. Our local camp boys are experienced here and can offer to guide you for a trekking of wild orchid trail and also to the stream where it meets with the river.

Any requests for looking at the insects over 10.00p.m. kindly inform us well ahead as we need to top up the fuel which means it is Rm20 per hour for any extra hour.

Please be reminded that you understand perfectly not to take any sample or specimen as we are in a protected zone in Forestry Conservation no. 1. It is tempting we understand but we are sure you would love to come back to a place where mother nature is kept in good condition. Any sample found upon checking at the forestry gate can means trouble for you and may keep the group in jeopardy of waiting and paying high fine. We received warning and had the Warta Kerajaan from the Ministry of Tourism whereby it is clearly specify that all the named insects, flora and fauna are protected and prohibited to collect or take any out of the area.

Borneo Jungle Girl is a service provider for your stay with application of your permit till the stay at the jungle with full meals and board. You only need to bring in your medication (if any), own towels, personal items ( soap, tooth brush,shampoo and comb), sleeping bag, hat and a windbreaker.

The weather up on the ridge of the mountain varies from 28 degree to 33 degree during the daytime and by nightfall it comes down from 22 degree to 16 degree normally. However, if raining season it can be 20 degree to 26 degree in the morning and night fall 8 degree to 16 degree.
